Steps for Windows operating system

We are sending you files 'VQUpdateEngine.jar' as an attachment through mail (if you don't receive it then please contact us).

Please save this file 'VQUpdateEngine.jar' in the following location
C drive - program files - Vital Quest folder - jars folder (It will ask you to replace the existing file - say yes.)

If Vital Quest software is running then please Quit 'Vital Quest'.

1. Click on 'Start' - 'All programs' - 'VitalQuest'
2. On clicking on 'Vital Quest' one of the option you will see is 'VQupdateEngine'

(If you don't see the option or the option is not working - please go to C drive - program files - Vital Quest folder - here you will see a file with the same name 'VQupdateEngine').
3. When you click on 'VQupdateEngine' it will show a screen with the warning to quit Vital Quest if you are running it.

Click on 'Yes' to go ahead.

4. Make sure your computer is connected to internet.

Click on the 'Update' button.
5. The process will start and download various files.

6. Once the process is over, it will ask you to select a location to save a backup file.

7. Please select the location and click save.
8. You will see a folder 'ListOfUpdatedFiles' saved in that location.
9. In that folder you will see a text file 'ListOfUpdatedFiles'. In this document you will see list of all the files and images downloaded.
