My Story with Homoeopathy |
|
Some Suggestions |
Please listen rather than write.
Most of this is found in
my books.
Most of the slides I
shall put on my websites in the next 3 weeks for you.
Please refer your
repertories for the rubrics in the cases I speak about.
Feel free to stop me and
ask questions, though I may not have the answers! |

I take up Homoeopathy |
My father was a very famous homoeopath
I was in awe of him and
loved him
Though I had other
interests, like wanting to be a lawyer and social reformer, I took up
Homeopathy.
My basic education was in
the college, but mainly I learnt from teachers |
|
|
I had many teachers |

His teacher Dr.
S.R.Phatak
Dr.J.N.Kanjilal
Dr.Sarabhai
Dr.B.N.Chakravarty

Those cases where we prescribed on mentals and generals and peculiars had
greater chances of success than one where the remedy merely covered the
local symptom |

Dr. Kunzli wrote |
|
There is no room for routine, laziness and fixed ideas. Needed are fine
observation, sharp thinking and a good knowledge of the repertories.

|
Acute lessons in Individualisation |
The boy who flew kites
He saw cupboards fall on
him |
|
|
Hahnemann said |
|
This holds good to such an extent, that the state of the disposition of
the patient often chiefly determines the selection of the homeopathic
remedy, as being a decidedly characteristic symptom which can least of all
remain concealed from the accurately observing physician. |

Basic delusion |
|
That which explains almost the whole of the patients feelings and
expressions |
|
|
Ask WHAT not WHY |
The totality of the phenomenon in the moment is the truth.
All reasons are only
theories.
Go deeper and deeper,
finer and finer into the "what" of phenomenon.
Refuses to be videoed

|
An observation |
|
If the mother had an intense state during pregnancy, the child almost
always has the same state |
|
|
Who are you ? |

|
|
Situational Materia medica |
|
An imaginary situation which would justify the entire expression in a
given remedy |
|
|
Dreams |
|
These are closest to the delusions. |
|
|
Interests and hobbies |
They are virtual dreams.
They are the ways we try
to live our delusion. |
|
|
Words used |
The similies and metaphors and choice of words of the patient during the
case taking or casual conversation of the patient point to the delusion.
Dr. Sehgals contribution
|
|
|
Examples |
Unfortunate feels / delusion unfortunate
Delusion neglected his
duty, he has
Delusion robbers in the
house
Desires light o Startles

Case Taking: Four levels |
An ideal case is a series of four steps.
The steps can be compared
with four spheres each within the other. |
|
|
Interchangeable use of rubrics |

The Three Laws |
Law#1
Sensation and
action are equal and opposite.
Law #2
The opposite
is equally true of whatever is said.
Law # 3
There is no
one or nothing out there other than myself |
|
|
Two corollaries |
Corollary # 1
You do to
yourself what you see others do to you , and do to others or to things is
what you like to do to yourself.
Corollary #2
The victim
and the aggressor are two sides of the same state . The victim has the
seed of the aggressor and vice versa. |

|
Homeopathy and spirituality |
None other than yourself
The world as a projection
of your delusion.
Know thyself, the center
of all wisdom |
|

|
Disease is delusion,
Awareness is healing. |
